Vi este no blog da Cristina Lasaitis. OK, mais um meme, mas ao menos é outro que combina com o "fluxo natural" do blog. Sobre o meme, como lembra a Cris, existem clássicos que não aparecem na lista e, tendo origem em meios "anglófonos", claro que nada de livros nacionais. As instruções:

Memes são um saco, essa é a real. Eles modificam o fluxo natural dos blogs e são modinhas como todas as outras. Mas, quando são nossos amigos com a modinha, então a gente releva e entra na brincadeira.

Essa é a quinta linha da página 123 de "A Deliciosa e Sangrenta Aventura Latina de Jane Spitfire", de Augusto Boal, pela "Geração Editorial".

Publicado pela primeira vez no Pasquim, durante a contra-revolução ditadura militar, o livro é uma sátira ao gênero de espionagem (claramente, uma sátira ao estilo "James Bond" de espionagem). Ao mesmo tempo, é também um torpedo político: nos militares, nos Estados Unidos, na esquerda, na direita, no centro... nada resta após a passagem de Spitfire... ou melhor, de Boal.

A aventura é divertida; Boal não cai freqüentemente nos truques e piadas fáceis com a política e as ideologias; e você acaba torcendo para que Jane consiga as 5 fórmulas mágicas para a reconstrução nacional. Não é uma leitura essencial, mas é inteligente e atual.
